How to Install Winnow on a Mac

Download Winnow 2.00 (not certified by Apple).

As I am not an identified Apple developer you will probably have to remove the file quarantine flag.

WINNOW VERSIONS: Note that the directions refer to "Winnow.app". Depending on the current version this could be "Winnow2.00.app" etc

STEP 1: In your downloads folder double click on Winnow.dmg.zip to decompress. Double click on Winnow.dmg to open.
You should see something like this:

STEP 2: Copy or drag winnow.app to your desktop or applications folder, BUT DO NOT REPLACE A PRIOR VERSION UNTIL YOU KNOW THE CURRENT ONE WORKS.

STEP 3: Try to open Winnow.app. If you get a "Damaged file" message then continue.

STEP 4: Please Option + Ctrl mouse click OR Option right mouse click on Winnow.app and pick "Copy path" from the dropdown menu.

STEP 5: Open Terminal and type "xattr -d com.apple.quarantine " and paste the path to Winnow.app. It should look like below, but your path will be different. Press return.
STEP 6: Try to open Winnow.app again - it should work now.
